Top Shopping: Kate Moss Style

Though I don't live in New York, I have been especially excited with the recent TopShop opening stateside. Day after day, I have been thinking of the amazing clothing supplied there, rather than concentrating on my schoolwork. When it was finally opened I was upset to find I missed so much. They gave out $500 dollar gift cards to the amazing fashionistas waiting in line along with doodled on handbags that would be perfect to carry my books in. Immediately to the opening I pawned through the pages till I reached Kate Moss's line. Upon seeing it I couldn't help but wonder. "would Kate even wear this?!". I loved the floral printed dresses, but coming from someone who is known for her downtown London style?

Fashionable Fonts

Summer is soon drawing near, and all I can think about is the 70 days between me and my trip to New York. What has suddenly poped up is... my summer reading list. The self-inflicted one of course! My list is pretty slim, it only includes, The Great Gatsby and The Meaning of Sunglasses.
Are there any titles you think I should add to this list?

To: Neauvo

Dear Neauvo,

I had soooo much fun at your upstart fashion show last night! We drank champagne, shopped for vintage clothes at Design Archives, by the way I got a vintage Carmen Marc Volvo jacket for $12! Anyway, your show was amazing! I loved the high waisted skirts, winged eyeliner, patent leather bow belts, and mismatched buttons, just as much as I loved you! When I started talking to you, you seem really passionate about starting your own line. Hopefully, the next time I see you it will be at New York fashion week.

McQueen gone Cheap!

This just in all of those glorious rumors are true!
Alexander McQueen will be doing a line for target stores across the country!

It will not be a Go International line, but they are creating a new line called Designer Collaborations. Sounds exactly the same right? But that just means for fashion each month!

Speaking of have you bought a pair of those Sigerson Morrison's yet?

Hallowonderfull

Throughout the years Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. The candy, decorations, and costumes just have me mesmerized! This year I have decided to be a flapper girl swinging 60's style. I still have a month to make the dress, but I've already started in anticipation! A list below of very fashionable, very hott costumes.

  • Andy Warhol
  • Ugly Betty
  • Blair Waldorf/Serena van der Woodsen
  • Marylin Monroe
  • Audrey Hepburn
  • Edie Sedwick
  • Twiggy
  • Kate Moss
  • Betsey Johnson

Comment me and tell me what you have decided to be!

Flashback

Upon flipping channels last night I stumbled upon a new show Glam Gods. It is very close to Project Runway except they don't make the clothes. It is about a group of stylist competing for a $100,000 dollar prize. I thought the show was kind of cheesy, but nether the less I am hooked and I plan to tune in next week. Some of the stylist were a little strange including Jess, the girl who cut up the Vera Wang dress and almost got sent home. Clearly, that was not a move she should have made. I knew that I had seen her from somewhere, but at the very end of the show I realized "The Look for Less!" She had been one of those cheesy stylist that helped contestants find horrible re-makes of outfits! Oh! how I missed watching endless hours of clueless people with bad style following her around. Those were the days!
